ONEWORLD CONNECTIONS INDUCTED INTO BUSINESS PROCESSING ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILLIPINES

One World Connections, Inc (OWC), a fast growing BPO company headquartered in
Manila, Philippines, was today inducted as a member of the Business Processing
Association of the Philippines (BPA/P) during its Annual General Membership Assembly.
BPAP is the umbrella association that represents organizations engaged in business
process outsourcing (BPO) and IT-enabled services (ITES) in the Philippines. According
to the BPAP website, BPAP’s membership is composed of 210 companies and 5
associations.
Deepak Kumar, Chief Operations Officer of OWC, represented OWC at he induction
commented, “It is wonderful to be affiliated with a world wide recognized association
such as BPAP. The support and knowledge that we will gain will surely contribute to
OWC’s growth as well as expand OWC’s connections. We are also looking forward to
sharing what we have gained with our fellow members.”
OWC, a mid sized BPO company, was started in 2006, and subsequently in early 2009
management control assigned to a team of ex IBM senior management member, led by
Deepak Kumar. The organization deploys Six Sigma across its deliveries and support
processes and is currently pursuing ISO 270001 (Information Security Management
System) certification.
